Custom luminaires enhance the luxury suites at the Sofitel

The Sofitel Melbourne needed lighting that matched their premium styling for their refurbishment. Guests expect suites and bathrooms that feel luxurious, not utilitarian. As such, the upgrade required soft ambient lighting across the hotel. Bathroom fittings needed to adhere to strict moisture compliance under Australian standards. And the existing fittings needed to be replaced with equally stunning luminaires.
The SL2833 Nexus surface-mount downlights replaced older fittings in the bedrooms. With a polished black reflector and white body, they suited the sophisticated style. Waterproof strip lighting and wall-mounted fixtures create an ambient effect in the bathroom. The opal diffusers in the linear profiles softly lit the shower and vanity. And the custom-designed and manufactured luminaire emitted warm lighting against the mirror.
